2012 Residential Camp Dates Set Residential Camp at Frostburg State University Moravek Soccer School, Washington DC's premier soccer school, is again offering its top class residential camp for 2012. The residential camp is held at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland and will be conducted July 29–August 2. Recognized as one of the premier training facilities on the east coast, Frostburg State University is located in the City of Frostburg, MD. Frostburg is in the mountains of Western Maryland. This former training center of the Washington Redskins boasts newly renovated fields. Lodging formats include cluster style rooms with semi-private baths and micro fridges, microwave ovens as well as traditional rooms with a central bath. School highlights include: swimming, end of week assessment conference with each player, written evaluation, soccer volleyball, soccer tennis, futsal, end of week awards ceremony, a game room which includes video games with a large screen television and pool tables. Participants will be travel, olympic development players, high school and national team players who have aspirations of playing college or professional soccer ages 9–18. Pro European Coaches/Scouts To Attend Residential School In 2012—Tentative Staff Moravek Soccer School will have Gavin Taylor and Geoff Warne from Fulham FC—England, Jason Blake Assisstant Coach of Burnley FC—England, Andi Pearce of Arsenal FC—England and former World Cup 1990 and 1994 Cameroon star, Emile Mbouh, in attendance at the residential camp July 29–August 2. In addition, Fulham FC scout and Moravek Soccer School President, William Moravek will be in attendance. Mr. Mbouh played professionally in France, the Middle East and Asia. Mr. Mbouh is also a scout for a number of France's biggest professional clubs. Technical Director and owner, William Moravek explains "We are extremely lucky to have such fine individuals from which our students can gain so much valuable information. It is also a fantastic opportunity for the area's top youth players to be exposed to what has been so successful in Europe in regards to football youth development. In 2010 we also had two academy players from Queens Park Rangers FC, and trialists from Chelsea, Reading and Fulham FC of England in attendance. This was a fantastic experience for all the players and certainly raised the standard of training through the week. In 2011 we had two of our students sign academy contracts with Fulham FC and another two students who were able to go train with that same club. It is important for us to share ideas and also grasp concepts and ideas from countries that have accomplished so much in the game over the years. This is why we always have such a diverse and high level of professional coach and player at these camps. In addition we regularly get some of the best players from the area in attendance from clubs like Bethesda SC, Baltimore Bays, Mclean Premier Soccer, Potomac Soccer, Loudoun Soccer, Arlington Soccer, Soca Elite and Ashburn Soccer to name a few with players coming from as far as Florida, Kentucky and Guam in the past."
